Tracy coached me for my BBC Carleton Hobbs audition and my win (Tracy also won in 1995) is largely down to her dedication as a teacher, and her passion for the drama. I remember, in several rehearsals for my Lady Anne speech from Richard III, Tracy crouching down in front of me and the microphone, silently but frantically waving her arms up and down to help me visualise Henry's wounds reopening and blood seeping out. As I say, she's very passionate! And her dedication in helping me to find speeches that were just right went beyond the scheduled rehearsal hours. Being an actress herself, and especially being such an experienced voice actor, was also very useful as she had such a detailed insight into, not only performance for radio, but also microphone technique. I would most certainly recommend her as a coach.

"I was very fortunate to have Tracy as one of my Carleton Hobbs coaches. Tracy's passion and experience really set the tone from our first rehearsal, and she was constructive and supportive every step of the way. Tracy helped us define our individual strengths, while encouraging us to make engaging and unexpected choices. When helping us choose our pieces, she knew exactly what kind of material would resonate. Looking back on the experience, it was definitely one of my highlights of Drama School. The fact that our team of four walked away with two Carleton Hobbs winners is testament to Tracy's hard work and attention to detail."
